Vaani Bhagvath is a marketing student at the University of Texas at Dallas with a passion for understanding and helping people. She is especially interested in the intersection of creativity, media, and consumer insight, where storytelling meets strategy. On campus, Vaani is involved with American Marketing Association, Radio UTD, and UTD TV, where she hosts a radio show called Reel Life Radio and enjoys engaging with conversations around film, media, and culture. She also enjoys creating digital content and writing, and shares personal reflections and creative pieces on platforms like Substack and YouTube.
Through her writing, Vaani hopes to explore topics related to creativity and media, personal growth, cultural observations, and the everyday experiences that shape student life. She is particularly drawn to storytelling as a way to connect people and spark thoughtful conversations. Whether reflecting on films, music, or moments of personal insight, she aims to write with honesty, curiosity, and authenticity.
Outside of academics and media work, Vaani has been deeply involved in the performing arts. She has been learning Indian classical music and Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam) since the age of seven and completed her arangetram (debut solo performance) two years ago. She also loves acting, watching films, discovering new music, and spending time writing and reflecting. Through Her Campus, Vaani is excited to share stories that celebrate creativity, curiosity, and the many experiences that shape life in college.
