Unnati is a third year undergraduate student at Carleton University, currently studying Neuroscience and Mental health, which she is extremely passionate about. Yes, it can be a lot, but it's rarely boring. She also volunteers at a neuroscience lab at Carleton univeristy, learning new lab techniques, working with mice and growing her expertise in neuroscience.
She is an international student, here from Nepal, navigating school and life, and learning to be an adult in Ottawa. Currently living with friends, managing a long distance family, and exploring a new city, she is a curiousity- led person, willing to give every experience one go. She is the president of the Nepalese Student Association at Carleton, organising a community far away from home for members to connect and thrive.
In her free time, Unnati likes trying out new crafts, making home decor from paper mache, and sewing.
