Hey! My name is Torrie Boykins. I am a proud Michigan Wolverine and a first-year Master student in the Higher Education program, concentrating in Student Access and Success.
I love Hello Kitty, Halloween, Disney, pizza, animals, the color pink, and anything silly! Some hobbies of mine include reading, writing, crafting, watching movies (and logging them on Letterbox'd), modeling, and spending time with friends and family.
Part of my identity is that I am a Black women, and its through my understanding of my own lived experience and community that I am inspired to learn and deeply care about the experiences of others. One of my goals during my time at U-Mich is to commit to learning about the many facets of life, and through my writing, I hope to spark the same curiosity in others.
