I am an international student from San Pedro Sula, Honduras. I am double majoring in Statistics and Quantitative Economics and Econometrics with a minor in Chinese Language. I am half Chinese and Half Honduran. I speak Spanish, English and Chinese. I am currently a junior planning to graduate inn the spring of 2025.
I currently reside on campus as I work as a Resident Assistant but have previously held positions as a Summer Conference Specialist and an Orientation Leader Marketing Assistant. I currently volunteer at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the Florida Aquarium, and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. In the past I have volunteered at the Tampa theater and the Tampa Museum of Art.
My passions include playing volleyball, photography and interacting with animals. My current obsessions include the color pink, the Y2K aesthetic, and candles that smell like fresh made coffee. My all time favorites include scrolling on Pinterest, window shopping and cat cafes. I love me a flea market and I enjoy thrifting more than anything. I have many opinions on the future of fashion, and technology.
I am currently looking for an internship in the financial field but I am open to any as long as it relates to statistics and data analysis. My plans for the future are to hopefully be able to get a masters someday and maybe even a doctorate. I currently live in Tampa but I love traveling. Among some of my favorite places are Washington D.C., San Francisco and Paris.
