Theresha Miller

Bowie State '26

I am currently pursuing my degree in computer technology concentration in Databases Science and Database Administration part of the class of 2026. My academic journey has been driven by a strong dedication to excellence, and I am working toward graduating with a GPA of 3.8. Throughout my studies, I have developed skills in research, writing, and technology, as well as a passion for applying knowledge in real-world contexts. These experiences have not only helped shape my academic identity but also prepared me for a future career in government service, where I aspire to use my skills to create positive change for both my family and community.

Professionally, I am building a foundation that combines leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving. My coursework has allowed me to explore complex subjects such as networking, cybersecurity, and policy development, all of which are essential in today’s interconnected world. I am especially interested in roles where I can bring innovative solutions to organizations while maintaining strong ethical and security standards. My long-term career goal is to contribute to public service, ensuring that I can support both national initiatives and the people closest to me.

Beyond academics and professional goals, I value family and personal growth. As one of ten children and a twin, I understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and resilience. These qualities have shaped how I approach challenges, always striving to uplift those around me. In my free time, I enjoy exploring technology, and playing basketball at Bowie State University which provides balance to my academic and professional commitments. Altogether, my journey reflects both a commitment to personal achievement and a broader vision of service to others.
