Thamena Sultan

Rutgers '25

Thamena Sultan is a student at Rutgers University–New Brunswick studying Health Administration and Public Health with a minor in Human Resource Management. As a first-generation college student, she’s passionate about breaking barriers and empowering others to do the same. She’s currently an Administrative Fellow with the CPPCI team at Hackensack Meridian Health, where she supports quality improvement projects and helps streamline workflows using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Thamena is also an incoming intern at Johnson & Johnson and a proud Douglass Honors Fellow.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Thamena has led various initiatives—from conducting community-based health research with the Yale School of Public Health to serving as a Peer Mentor and Barbara Voorhees Mentor at Douglass Residential College. She’s always looking for new ways to make an impact, whether it’s through process improvement, leadership development, or mentoring first-year students navigating college life.

Outside of academics and work, Thamena is a lover of aesthetic planners, Gen Z humor, late-night diner runs, and digital storytelling. She enjoys creating TikToks on @whoisfhameda and @meda.x, documenting life as a Muslim Desi girl balancing college, career, and culture. Whether she’s managing a project or curating Pinterest boards, Thamena is all about intentionality, community, and a touch of ✨main character energy✨.
