Hello everyone! My name is Terise Smith, and I am a freshman Criminal Justice major here at Bowie State University, working toward my goal of becoming a judge. I am from Baltimore, Maryland, and I am deeply passionate about community involvement, leadership, and using my voice to create positive change. I’m super excited to be a part of the Her Campus family and can’t wait to see what this journey has in store!
I graduated high school as Class President for the Class of 2025, serving from my sophomore through senior year. In this role, I organized events, led fundraisers, and made it a priority to be a strong voice for my classmates. I’m looking forward to bringing that same energy, creativity, and leadership to Her Campus while connecting with other driven women. I was drawn to this organization because of its strong sense of community, sisterhood, and commitment to women’s empowerment.
Currently at Bowie State, I am also a proud member of the BSU Dancing Divas. I’ve been dancing for 14 years, and it’s one of my favorite ways to express myself. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, trying new things, and having fun, and I love the color pink! 💗
