Tehya Thompson

Tehya Thompson is a Team Member at the Her Campus at Howard University chapter. She's passionate about all things advocacy, beauty, music, and fashion-related.

Beyond Her Campus, Tehya is the Executive Assistant and member of the Communications and Lobbying/Legislation Departments of Black Women in Charge, Inc. where she organizes meetings, coordinates logistics for events, manages social media accounts, updates the organization website, and researches legislative issues and policies. She is currently a sophomore at Howard University, majoring in Strategic, Legal, & Management Communication with a concentration in Legal Communication and a minor in Political Science. She aspires to be an entertainment attorney in the music, fashion, or beauty industries that focuses on increasing Black representation.

In her free time, Tehya enjoys reading, painting, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. She absolutely loves trying new restaurants, especially brunch spots.
