Stefanja Ottier

Stefanja Ottier is a first year student here at Carleton University, currently studying Journalism and Political Science. She's no stranger to the practice of journalism, as she was the Editor-in-Chief of The Eastwood Sun, her high school's newspaper which she also founded. Stefanja held the position for two years, in addition to writing for the newspaper.
Stefanja is from Kitchener, Ontario and a fun fact about her is that she danced competitively for a number of years, in addition to attending a high school for dance arts, film and photography. She have a passion for fashion (pun intended), and loves looking into trends and current issues in the zeitgeist that specifically concern women and other sapphic individuals. Stefanja has been writing ever since she was 7 years old, with her first work being the dramatic novella, "The Life of a Seven Year Old", and ever since she couldn't get enough. In addition to writing, Stefanja also reads a lot. She enjoys writing about books she's read, how they've impacted people, and the impacts books have on the larger reading community.
All in all, Stefanja is excited to contribute to the Her Campus Carleton community, and continue to write about exciting current topics.
