Hey! I’m Sribhavani Thotakura! I’m looking forward to majoring in finance and international policy, where I can combine my love for strategy and global affairs. Alongside my academic journey, I’m passionate about fashion, marketing, media, finance, and data analytics. These interests help me to explore creative and analytical worlds, which I believe is essential to fostering innovation. I've always been incredibly interested in space, which is what led me to pursue writing and working in the space.
Writing has been a part of my life forever. I have been a writer as long as I can remember. I enjoy expressing ideas and connecting with readers. In high school, I was the president of our literary society, where I led creative projects and writing workshops. I was also the chief editor of our school newsletter, where I honed my editorial skills, learned the importance of clear communication, and led over 200 students to recognize their love for working in the editorial space.
I look forward to meeting my chapter members, writing with them, and most of all, I'm so excited to be an addition to IU's Her Campus team and use my skills and ideas to add to the space that's been created by the Her Campus at IU team!
