Sophie Marini

My name is Sophie Marini, a second-year student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I'm majoring in Consumer Economics and Finance with a minor in Business. Coming from the suburbs of Chicago, I've always been drawn to the bustling city life and the myriad of opportunities it presents. My academic journey is driven by a passion for understanding consumer behavior and financial markets, with a goal of making informed decisions that positively impact individuals and communities.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I'm deeply involved in campus life. I am proud to be a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, where I've found a supportive community of like-minded individuals dedicated to personal growth and philanthropy. Additionally, I have the honor of being part of Phi Eta Sigma, an esteemed honors society that recognizes academic excellence and fosters leadership skills among its members. These involvements have enriched my university experience, providing me with opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.

Outside of my academic and extracurricular activities, I'm passionate about exploring new interests and engaging with diverse perspectives.
