Sophie DeCarvalho is a writer for the recently restarted University at Buffalo HerCampus chapter. Originally from Campbell Hall, New York, she is currently a sophomore, double majoring in both English and Political Science.
On the off chance that Sophie isn't in the library studying away, you can find her figure skating(or at least attempting to), skiing, or cycling. If you see her, she'll usually have a coffee in her hand and a Taylor Swift song running through her head.
Sophie’s ultimate life goal is to become a published novelist. As for her career, she is still uncertain, as she is entertaining the possibility of law school or the pursuit of a graduate degree in the field of English education. For now, all she knows is that she has an affinity for words and is excited to write for University at Buffalo’s HerCampus!
