Sonniya Springer is a junior at Howard University from Brooklyn, New York. She is an English major, journalism minor whose interests are writing, shopping, and listening to music. She enjoys writing poetry and non fiction. Her favorite music genres include dancehall, hip hop, and r&b. Sonniya also likes to eat and try various restaurants which causes her to consider herself as a "foodie". Sonniya also serves as a reporter for the Hilltop Newspaper at Howard University. Sonniya enjoys being around friends and family who uplift each other and bring positive vibes.
