Solae White-Rodgers

Hi! My name is Solae White-Rodgers and I’m currently a student at Delaware State University, where I’m pursuing my degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations and advertising. I’ve always had a passion for storytelling, creativity, and connecting with people, which has led me to explore opportunities in communications, media, and branding. Being at DSU has given me the chance to dive into leadership, take part in exciting campus projects, and meet so many amazing people who push me to keep growing.
Outside of the classroom, I founded Girls Gurl, an organization centered on embracing femininity, celebrating sisterhood, and building genuine community among women. Starting Girls Gurl has been one of my favorite experiences so far because it allows me to create safe and fun spaces for women to connect, share, and feel supported. I’m also really interested in marketing, PR, and advertising, and my dream is to eventually run my own company. I see myself working with big brands, events, and people while staying true to my authentic self.
When I’m not busy with school or my organizations, you can usually find me vlogging, going to events, brainstorming creative projects, or just hanging out with my friends. I love being in spaces that bring people together, and I’m always looking for new ways to express myself and uplift others. My ultimate goal is to live a life that blends creativity and impact, while showing other young women that it’s possible to chase your dreams and have fun along the way.
