Simina Cobut is a writer at Her Campus USF. She is a junior pursuing a BA in Global Business and a minor in Creative Writing. On campus, she loves to get involved with initiatives such as Women in Business (Head of Community Engagement) and Girls into Venture Capital (Head of Operations). Beyond supporting women, she loves to get involved in other organizations such as non-profits. You can find her interning as an Operations Intern at Girl Reports, a non-profit organization focused on providing professional and educational opportunities to under-deserved girls in Nepal through an after school journalism program.
Off campus, Simina loves to dive into a book and lose herself in any world - except nonfiction. One of her favorite book series is "Zodiac" by Romina Russell. Simina is also currently writing a sci-fi, fantasy novel that she hopes to finish writing by the end of the year. Beyond traditional books and writing, she's an avid collector and reader of manga and loves anime, you'll find her room scattered with figurines, trinkets, and blind-box treasures.
Though her passions also expand beyond fictional worlds, Simina loves to work out, cycle, and play video games when she has time. Her favorite games are Minecraft and the Resident Evil series. If you do ever see her, you can surely find her with a book, her laptop, and a coffee.
