Sierra Hanlon is an editor for Her Campus and a third-year student at the University of Toronto, pursuing a double major in English and Philosophy. An aspiring lawyer and published author, she is passionate about women’s rights, storytelling, and using her voice to inspire and inform others.
Always eager to stay busy, Sierra is involved in a variety of clubs and campus initiatives. She loves reading as well as writing about anything and everything, having started with little pieces of poetry, short stories, and articles on her phone. Once she arrived at university, her passion for editing and writing truly came to fruition, allowing her to develop her voice and share her work with a wider audience.
Outside of school, Sierra can often be found with a book in one hand and a pen in the other. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys baking, working out, and embracing the outdoors. She loves discovering new restaurants and savoring new experiences, and she always makes time for her beloved cat and two dogs.
