Shreya Bodhanapu

Hey! My name’s Shreya Bodhanapu and I’m a junior finance major with a minor in global sustainability. I’ve always been drawn to the mix of social entrepreneurship, innovation, and service because I like the idea of using business as more than just a way to make money. I want to create things that matter, whether that’s building opportunities for people who usually get overlooked or finding ways to connect finance with sustainability.

Outside of academics, dance has been one of the biggest parts of my life. I’ve been training for fifteen years, and it’s given me a balance of discipline and creativity that shapes how I approach everything else I do. I also love swimming and the freedom it brings me, whether I’m pushing myself or just relaxing in the water. Next year I’ll be studying abroad in Budapest, and I’m excited to step outside my comfort zone and bring those same passions with me into a completely new environment.

I’m also someone who finds joy in the little things. Cookies and milk are my ultimate comfort food, and I proudly call myself a milkaholic. One of my bucket list dreams is to swim with orcas in Norway, which combines my love for water with my curiosity for adventure. I also spend time watching anime, and I love Eren Yeager because he is a morally complex character, which is how I think a lot of people are. Altogether, I’d say I’m someone who mixes big ambitions with small joys, someone who loves to stay curious and never stop moving forward.
