I’m a junior at Florida International University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Technology has always sparked my curiosity, and over time I’ve grown especially interested in cybersecurity. I plan to continue my studies with a master’s degree in the field, where I can deepen my knowledge and contribute to keeping digital spaces safe. I also enjoy coding in languages like Java and JavaScript, which challenge me to think critically and creatively when solving problems.
During my time at FIU, I’ve had the opportunity to take part in projects that have pushed me to grow both academically and personally. One highlight was my participation in AI4ALL, where I helped build a machine learning pipeline to evaluate startup success using real-world data. I also enjoy being involved in student organizations that bring together technology, sustainability, and creativity, because they allow me to collaborate with others and see the impact of innovation in different areas of campus life.
Outside of my academic and professional interests, I enjoy exploring art history, writing, and connecting with others through shared stories and experiences. I see creativity as just as important as technical skills, and I like finding ways to balance both. Joining Her Campus FIU gives me the opportunity to bring my love for writing and storytelling into a new space where I can share perspectives, uplift voices, and be part of a community that inspires and empowers students.
