Hi everyone! I’m Shemaiah Pearl Dyer, a sophomore Information Technology scholar at Norfolk State University !
Born and raised in Prince George’s County, I carry big dreams, bold energy, and an even bigger personality wherever I go. I’m an honors student, STEM scholar, IBM SkillsBuild certified, and the first in my family to attend college.
On campus, I serve, lead, and create impact. From working in Career Services helping students build confidence through career readiness and professional style, to serving in student leadership and mentoring spaces, I believe in pouring into others while growing myself. Leadership to me isn’t about titles, it’s about listening, uplifting, and making space for everyone to shine.
Beyond academics, I’m a content creator and lifestyle influencer sharing my colorful college journey online. Whether it’s GRWM videos,unpopular opinions, birthday countdowns, or real big sister advice, I aim to inspire, motivate, and keep it authentic. My goal is to show young women, especially women in STEM that you can be smart, stylish, soft, strong, and successful all at once.
I’m passionate about storytelling, video production, entrepreneurship, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. Whether I’m preparing for a presentation, running a campaign, planning content, or chasing the next big opportunity, I lead with personality, persistence, and purpose.
The journey is still unfolding but one thing about me I’m going to give it my all.
