My name is Shanyiah, and I am a student at Bowie State University who is passionate about leadership, creativity, and being involved on campus. I currently serve as the Treasurer for Her Campus at Bowie State, where I help manage finances, plan budgets for events, and support the chapter’s goals. Being part of Her Campus allows me to grow as a leader while also contributing to something that empowers and uplifts women on campus.
On campus, I enjoy being involved in organizations that build community and encourage confidence and self-expression. I am especially interested in opportunities that allow me to connect with others, develop professional skills, and make a positive impact. Through Her Campus, I hope to help create meaningful events, support student voices, and contribute to a supportive and inspiring environment for college women.
Outside of school and leadership roles, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring my creative side, and working on personal growth. I value authenticity, teamwork, and positivity, and I try to bring those qualities into everything I do. I am excited to continue growing at Bowie State and making the most of every opportunity to learn, lead, and inspire.
