Shannon Dineen is a sophomore member of the BU Her Campus chapter and works on the events teams, mainly helping to organize small and weekly bonding events for the chapter as a whole.
At BU, Shannon is a part of the Sexual Assault Prevention department of student government and works as a researcher to help promote education about these topics. In addition, she attends many of the SAP events such as Walk a Mile in Her Shoes to promote awareness for domestic violence and assault. Shannon is a political science major with a psychology minor on the pre-law track interested in pursuing family law and survivor advocacy. She has become part of BU's Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity this past semester to learn more about her path.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys going on runs, lifting weights, hiking, and exploring Boston with her friends. She is a country music fan and loves visiting Colorado to ski with her sisters.
