Shana Srivastava is the Chapter Editor and Creative Head at the Her Campus MUJ Chapter. She contributes to editorial and written work by ideating, refining, and helping maintain a consistent voice across all pieces. As Creative Head, she works on the chapter’s creative front, contributing to its visual identity and exploring new ways to present ideas. Her interests lie in spreading queer awareness, advocating for neurodivergent accessibility, and bringing attention to overlooked issues around the world. She loves to ideate, think outside the box, and, most importantly, always try something new.
Outside Her Campus, Shana focuses on developing and expanding her technical skills. As a second-year Computer Science and Engineering student at Manipal University Jaipur, she aspires to make technology more accessible and understandable to all audiences. She enjoys participating in hackathons, working on different projects, and reading research papers that have absolutely nothing to do with what she is currently studying. She has volunteered with multiple NGOs, is part of the IEEE Working Team at MUJ, and is currently preparing for an Adobe internship in 2027. She enjoys bringing together her technical and creative interests, finding ways for the two to exist beyond the boundaries of their respective fields.
In her free time, Shana loves to keep herself busy. She enjoys binge-watching any show that catches her attention, reading any and all books, and writing essays simply to organize and preserve her thoughts. She is drawn to work that is simple yet manages to convey every thought and emotion the author or poet intended. For her, good storytelling does not need to be complicated; it just needs to mean something. At the end of it all, Shana wants to live a life worth remembering, filled with things she chose to explore and experiences she will never have to wonder, “What if?”
