My name is Shamim Molla, and I’m a member of the Her Campus at Manipal University Jaipur, where my primary domain is content creation and my secondary domain is event management. Content creation is where I thrive the most and focus on writing and curating pieces that feel authentic, relatable, and relevant to today’s student culture. My coverage areas include pop culture, LGBTQ+ topics, and lifestyle, spaces where storytelling, representation, and honest conversations matter deeply. Alongside writing, I also contribute to event planning and execution, helping bring ideas to life beyond the screen and building meaningful engagement within the campus community.
I am currently a first-year B.Tech student in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur. While my academic background is technical, I have always balanced it with creative pursuits. During my school years, I was actively involved in anchoring and small-scale event management, experiences that shaped my confidence, communication skills, and ability to connect with diverse audiences. Academically, I have consistently performed well, securing 96.4% in my Class 10 board examinations and 92.25% in my Class 12 board examinations. These experiences, both academic and extracurricular, have helped me develop discipline while still leaving room for creativity.
Beyond academics and Her Campus, I’m someone who finds joy in creativity and self-expression. I love sketching, singing, photography, traveling, and experimenting with fashion as a way to express identity and mood. These interests strongly influence my writing style and perspective, allowing me to approach content with emotion, visual imagination, and cultural sensitivity. I’m especially passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and represented. As I continue to grow, I hope to blend my technical education with my creative instincts, telling stories that are honest, inclusive, and impactful.
