Scarlett is a freshman staff writer for HCCU with a major in Strategic Communication! She hails from the tiny little river town of Salida, Colorado where her love of writing was born. She enjoys writing personal reflection pieces, one person profiles, as well as fashion and travel pieces. Post-grad, Scarlett plans on entering the advertising industry as a copywriter, and dreams of working her way up to being the creative director of a brand. In her free time, Scarlett enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, baking, and soaking in quality time with the ones she loves. She also loves manatees, 90s/2000s rom-coms, her two adorable dogs, and a good plate of loco moco. Scarlett can usually be found studying in the UMC, at work in the Law Library, or taking up space on her best friend’s couch.
