Saumya Sharma

Saumya Sharma is a part of the Events and Logistics Core at Her Campus MUJ, organizing and orchestrating anything from casual on-ground activities to lively virtual events. She's a details person—whether it's mood-boarding for event atmosphere or ensuring that there's plenty of coffee to make prep day happen. Saumya adores turning ideas into reality and ensuring each event leaves a lasting impression, is inclusive, and has great vibes.

She's in her second year of B.Com (Hons) at Manipal University Jaipur and has just returned from interning with Data Ingenious Global Limited in their finance and accounting department, where she had the opportunity to work with Tally and Excel (and found that spreadsheets aren't so bad after all).

Outside of Her Campus, Saumya is a classical dancer, book aficionado, and playlist editor. She's always up for an impromptu café run, and she'll swear on her best event ideas being born out of these last-minute late-afternoon coffee-fueled brainstorming sessions. She's also a Formula 1 enthusiast—so if you need to discuss strategy or race day mayhem, she's your woman.

Saumya is a firm believer in being present for people, taking pleasure in the little things, and accepting highs and lows along with everything in between. Her favorite quote (from Anna Karenina) says it best:
