Sarah is a sophomore at The Ohio State University pursuing a degree in English with a concentration in journalism. Her academic work has built a strong foundation in storytelling, media ethics, editing, and feature writing, with a focus on culture, women’s issues, and community-centered reporting. As an active member of her university’s Her Campus chapter, she collaborates with other driven women in media while continuing to refine her voice as a writer and creative.
Professionally, Sarah serves as a journalism and photography intern with the Marysville Journal-Tribune, covering sports, community events, and local government meetings. She also owns and operates a photography business, specializing in weddings, portraits, events, and sports photography, where she manages client relations, branding, and project execution.
Outside of her academic and professional work, Sarah enjoys powerlifting and playing video games—hobbies that reflect her competitive spirit, discipline, and appreciation for both strategy and strength. She is committed to highlighting women’s stories and culture while continuing to grow as both a writer and visual journalist.
