Hello to whoever may be reading this!! My name is Sarah and I am proud to be a representative of Her Campus at CU Boulder! Growing up, I HATED writing (like really hated) but as I’ve grown older I realized writing wasn’t the issue but rather what I was writing and how I was writing it was what stressed me. Through HCCU I have found something deeper than overcoming my disinterest in literature- I found my voice. My hope is that my articles represent both my thought processes as well as my values as a writer, student, woman and peer to others. Now a little about myself… I am a proud Colorado native and when I’m not hanging out with my friends I am usually on the hunt for the nearest dog around to pet (I LOVE dogs). To let my creativity shine, I create art; Whether it’s for somebody else or even just myself, you can often find me doodling or sketching when inspiration strikes.
