Sanya Burman

I am a master’s student at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where I am pursuing a degree in Business Analytics. Before coming here, I completed my bachelor’s degree in commerce from Pune University, which gave me a strong foundation in business and numbers. Over time, I realized how much I enjoy working with data and using it to solve real-world problems. Alongside my studies, I’ve also gained experience in marketing and project management, which helped me combine analytical thinking with creativity and taught me how to adapt in different professional settings.

At UMass Boston, I love being part of collaborative projects and leadership opportunities. I’ve taken on roles in marketing and event coordination, which have strengthened my communication skills and given me the chance to work with diverse groups of people. Becoming an editor for Her Campus is especially meaningful to me because I get to support writers, polish their work, and make sure every article represents the authentic voices of our community.

Outside of academics and campus involvement, I enjoy journaling, scrapbooking, and other creative activities that let me express myself. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I also value spending time with loved ones and finding joy in little everyday moments. Whether I’m working with numbers, words, or ideas, I’m passionate about building connections and sharing stories that inspire others.
