My name is Rachael, I am a fourth-year student at the University of Aberdeen with a passion for literature, pop culture, and helping Gen Z navigate modern life with style. As Vice President of the university’s book club, I have fostered a welcoming space for students to connect over books, sparking deep discussions on everything from classic novels to contemporary bestsellers. With four years of experience serving on the committees of various societies, I bring leadership, creativity, and a keen understanding of student life to all of my roles.
My interests extend beyond the pages of book, I am fascinated by the ways Gen Z engages with pop culture, from viral TikTok trends to the latest streaming series, and how these trends shape modern identities. I am also passionate about making budgeting and financial planning more accessible and aesthetically pleasing, believing that managing money shouldn’t feel daunting.
Through my writing, I aim to inspire and empower students to balance their academic, personal, and financial lives while staying true to their unique style. You’ll often find me sharing insights on how to live well on a budget, exploring new reads, testing new local businesses and diving into the latest cultural phenomena.
