I am an applied mathematics student with a strong interest in data, research, and understanding how abstract ideas connect to real-world issues. While my academic work focuses on analytical thinking and problem-solving, I am especially interested in how numbers can tell deeper stories about people, behavior, and society. I am drawn to questions that don’t have simple answers and enjoy exploring patterns that go beyond what’s immediately visible.
At the same time, writing has become an important way for me to process and express ideas. I am particularly interested in topics related to culture, student life, and the small, often overlooked experiences that shape how we think and interact. I tend to approach writing with a mix of curiosity and reflection, focusing less on surface-level trends and more on what they reveal underneath. I enjoy connecting logical analysis with personal insight, even when the conclusions are uncertain or evolving.
Outside of academics, I spend much of my time thinking, observing, and developing my own perspective. I value independence, curiosity, and growth, though I tend to take a quieter, more deliberate approach to things. Through Her Campus, I hope to write pieces that feel thoughtful and real—work that not only shares ideas, but also makes people pause, reflect, and see familiar experiences in a different way.
