Pamela Herrera is a marketing student at Texas State University’s McCoy College of Business, where she is building a strong foundation in consumer behavior, brand strategy, and digital media. Through her studies, she has gained experience in analyzing how people form connections with brands and how identity influences purchasing decisions. She has also pursued certifications in digital marketing, including Google Ads and HubSpot, which have strengthened her skills in SEO, analytics, and campaign planning.
Outside of the classroom, Pamela has developed her passion for creativity and aesthetics through hands-on projects and freelance work. She founded Apra Designs, an Etsy shop that specializes in invitations and event branding, where she ensures every detail works together to create a seamless aesthetic. She has also worked as a freelancer with lifestyle brands such as Within Candles and Sprinter Vodka Soda, producing photography, video content, and social media campaigns. These experiences have allowed her to combine creativity with strategy, ensuring that visuals not only look beautiful but also communicate meaningful stories that resonate with audiences.
Beyond her professional and academic experiences, Pamela finds inspiration in painting, fashion, travel, motorsports and photography. She believes that creativity and aesthetics play an important role in how people experience brands, and she integrates these passions into her work. Pamela aspires to build a career in marketing and design, where she can continue blending artistry with strategic thinking to inspire and connect with others.
