I am currently an undergraduate student at Bowie State University majoring in Computer Technology with a concentration in Data Science and Database Administration. With a GPA of 3.88, I take pride in my academic achievements and the dedication I bring to my studies. My coursework focuses on database management, data security, statistical analysis, and systems administration, all of which are vital to building efficient and secure information systems.
Professionally, I am interested in pursuing roles in database administration and network management within the federal or telecommunications sectors. I am especially drawn to positions involving database performance analysis, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision-making because they allow me to combine my skills in technology with meaningful impact. My long-term goal is not only to succeed in the technology field but also to use my expertise to empower young students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue careers in STEM fields and benefit from the opportunities that technology can provide.
Beyond academics, I balance my professional ambitions with my passion for athletics and creativity. I still play college basketball, which has taught me the values of discipline, teamwork, and resilience qualities that I carry into both my academic and professional life. In addition, I enjoy creating fashion and beauty content with my twin sister on TikTok and Instagram, which allows me to express my creativity while also building communication and media skills.
