Nathalie is a junior at Florida International University studying psychology on the pre-med track with the goal of becoming a dermatologist. She is involved in FIU’s Women in Medicine and Alpha Epsilon Delta, where she enjoys being part of communities connected to her interests in medicine and healthcare. While her academic interests are focused on medicine, she also has a strong interest in entertainment, pop culture, and media.
She has always been drawn to stories and topics that spark conversation, from new movies and television series to popular books and the latest in pop culture. She especially enjoys discussing book-to-screen adaptations, fictional romances, character development, and the relationships between characters. She is also interested in feminism, women’s representation, and the ways women are portrayed in entertainment and popular culture.
As a writer for HER Campus FIU, Nathalie is still discovering her writing style and the topics she most enjoys exploring. She hopes to use HER Campus as an opportunity to experiment with different types of writing while sharing her opinions and perspectives on the things that interest her.
