I am a motivated and dependable professional with a strong foundation in leadership, customer service, and education. I graduated from Southland College Prep Charter High School, where I earned high honors and actively participated in track, dance, and the Speech and Drama Executive Board. These experiences taught me commitment, discipline, and creativity, all of which continue to shape how I approach new opportunities.
Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Communications, which allows me to strengthen my skills in public speaking, media, and building meaningful connections with others. Professionally, I have built a diverse background in food service, fitness, and youth education. I currently work as a Fitness Instructor and Fitness Attendant at the University of Houston Campus Recreation & Wellness Center, where I was recognized as “Outstanding Member Support.” In the past, I worked as a dance instructor and camp counselor at Sierra House, where I combined my love of movement with mentorship by teaching choreography and tutoring children in core subjects. My internship at OAI, Inc. gave me valuable training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and professional development, equipping me with transferable skills in time management and teamwork.
As a Communications major with big goals of building connections, growing as a storyteller, and one day working in media. I’ve always loved using my voice and creativity to connect with people, and I hope to bring that same energy into everything I do. My dream is to work in television and use that platform to inspire and reach wide audiences. Being part of Her Campus is exciting for me because it’s a chance to grow, learn from other amazing women, and keep developing the skills that will shape both my career and my personal journey.
