Miranda is a first-year student at the University of South Florida studying Mass Communications with a concentration in Video and Documentary Production. Originally from California, she has always been drawn to the ways storytelling can connect people and turn everyday experiences into something meaningful. Before college, Miranda was heavily involved in her high school’s creative and technology programs, where she explored writing, filmmaking, photography, editing, and computer science. She also served as a yearbook editor and held leadership positions in several student organizations. At USF, she hopes to continue developing her skills behind the camera while exploring different forms of journalism, digital media, and creative storytelling.
Outside of academics, Miranda enjoys photography, video editing, creative writing, jewelry making, crocheting, scrapbooking, and, of course, watching movies. She is especially interested in stories about people, relationships, pop culture, college life, and the little experiences that often go unnoticed. When she isn't working on a project or exploring campus, she can usually be found listening to music, writing, or looking for her next creative idea.
As a Her Campus contributor, Miranda is excited to share her perspective as a college student and connect with other young women through stories that are honest, relatable, and fun.
