Minaal Arain is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in journalism. Having lived in four states by age 21, she has heard many perspectives nationwide and understands the importance of storytelling and uncovering the truth.
Her attention to detail and love of long-form writing enable Minaal to accurately convey the multiple aspects of any topic in a nuanced yet concise manner. Aspiring to make a difference through the law, she has worked with youth in the foster care system, applying those same skills alongside legal analysis.
Aside from journalism, Minaal enjoys photography, reading, weight training, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite moments are with her friends and family.
