Michelle Kakureb is a senior biology major and pre-dental student at St. John’s University, graduating with the Class of 2027. She is fascinated by science, health, and the ways small habits can shape confidence and well-being. Although much of her time is spent studying, preparing for the DAT, and working toward dental school, Michelle loves finding creative ways to make everyday life feel exciting and meaningful.
Outside the classroom, she can usually be found at the gym, playing piano, painting, traveling, taking photos, or discovering coffee spots around New York City. She also enjoys creating social media content centered on lifestyle, fashion, fitness, student life, and personal growth. As someone who values discipline but also loves a cute outfit, a beautiful sunset, and a sweet treat, Michelle believes balance is what makes life enjoyable.
Through Her Campus at St. John’s, Michelle is excited to share honest, relatable stories about college, wellness, relationships, confidence, and navigating the journey toward a big dream. She hopes her writing encourages other students to feel understood, try something new, and keep going even when life feels overwhelming. Most of all, Michelle wants her page to feel like a conversation with a friend: warm, encouraging, and always genuine. She is excited to celebrate the ambitious, creative, and diverse women who make the St. John’s community special.
