Mia is a Senior at Michigan State University studying both English and Professional and Public Writing. She works at the MSU Writing Center as a consultant and loves her job! After her graduation she hopes to work in the publishing industry as a developmental editor.
As a writer, Mia enjoys a good metaphor and a lengthy run-on sentence (to her editors dismay). She has been writing ever since she was a little girl and plans to continue doing so as she progresses into adulthood.
In her free time you can catch Mia at her local yoga studio, junk journaling, or reading. Some of her favorite books are Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati, Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward, and Normal People by Sally Rooney.
