Mia Simmons

Mia is a freshman at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. She is an International Political Economy major, with a minor in Fashion Studies. She was formally an intern for the Institute for Youth in Policy as a Legal Intern and Policy Outreach Associate (2021). She has written Independent Research Projects for organizations such as UNICEF, the University of Hawaii at Hilo and the Pacific Asian American Council (2021). She has had the opportunity of working with city council elections for Brooklyn as an Outreach Associate (2021). When she is not writing or helping the community, she is often found at the art museums in New York City, reading novels and being an active member in her other clubs and organizations.
