Mia Rosado

FIU '26

Mia Rosado (she/her/hers) is an editor for Florida International University’s chapter of Her Campus.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Mia is a proud Cuban-American student and Swiftie. She can often be found sporting pink hair (but with a last name that translates to “pink,” is that really all that surprising?) and a six-year-old set of AirPods with the volume much higher than it probably should be. Her dachshund, Max, is the cutest dog in the world… not that the person writing this is biased or anything.

Mia is a second-year undergraduate student at FIU, where she is double majoring in English Literature and Women & Gender Studies, minoring in Theatre, and pursuing a certificate in Professional and Public Writing. She also works as a student assistant in the Office of the Provost at FIU. After graduating, she plans on going to grad school, becoming a book editor, and adopting a dog or two.

With her major and aspirations in mind, it should come to no surprise that Mia is an avid reader. Her favorite style/genre is magical realism, although she loves anything with vibrant world-building. Aside from reading, she loves strawberries, Hocus Pocus (1993), and the Marvel superhero America Chavez.
