Mia Pizarro is a Co-Director for the Social Media team at the Her Campus at UPR chapter. Alongside other colleagues, she works on creating fun, engaging, and creative content that promotes the chapter’s articles, as well as any activities that the chapter hosts or participates in.
Besides her role in Her Campus at UPR, she is an undergraduate Social Sciences student at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, where she’s majoring in Psychology. She hopes to continue expanding her knowledge in this field by pursuing a master’s degree and, eventually, a doctoral degree.
Mia is a lover of all things; whether it’s reading books, listening to music, baking, watching a crazy amount of movies, creating art, enjoying long beach days, or creating very specific Pinterest boards, she loves it all! She believes it was her love for all of these things that drew her to the Her Campus at UPR chapter. She especially loves how it provides a safe space for people with all kinds of interests to come together and share them within a creative, fun, and inspiring community.
