Mia Naglieri is a member of the social and writing teams for Her Campus at the University of Virginia Chapter. She’s excited to build her writing skills and connect to UVA students. She’s looking forward to Her Campus as a creative outlook and a way to become more involved at UVA. Not only does Her Campus allow for creativity, the network also allows opinions to be shared to uplift women and allow everyone to speak their mind.
Beyond Her Campus, Mia works as a letter-collections member for the If You're Reading This Chapter at UVA, covering issues on mental health and connecting UVA students through shared experiences. She also works in a Neuroscience lab at the UVA Medical School, genotyping to aid in projects related to neurodegenerative diseases. She is currently a second year at the University of Virginia, majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-medical track.
In her free time, Mia loves to run around grounds, explore cute coffee shops, and dance along to music with her friends. She enjoys dressing up for Sunset Series at Carter Mountain and the UVA football games. She also is hooked on White Lotus and loves a good rom-com show. While at school at the University of Virginia, Mia misses her two younger sisters, lovely kitties and her cute chocolate lab.
