Melissa Alhamis is a Junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Biomedical Engineering major on the pre-med track. When not writing for Her Campus, she's serves as the Communications Chair for the UConn chapter of the American Medical Women's Association. You can also find her stepping with the UConn All-Stars Step team.
In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, reading books, and grabbing coffee.
