McKayla is a freshman contributor to the Her Campus chapter at Pace University, majoring in Communications & Media Studies. She aspires to one day become a journalist in a vibrant city environment.
McKayla's hometown is Sarasota, Florida, and she wrote for her high school news publication for all four years. She loves writing about fashion, pop culture, and local events.
Before moving to Florida for high school, she grew up in rural New Jersey and owned farm animals. In her free time, she enjoys reading, online shopping, writing, and watching one of her favorite TV shows (Derry Girls, Adults, New Girl, The Vampire Diaries).
