Maureen Abraham

Maureen Abraham is a Broadcast Journalism major at Howard University from South Florida. She is involved in various organizations on campus, such as Her Campus, Spotlight Network, Howard University Association of Black Journalists, and the National Council of Negro Women. She is passionate about storytelling and finding different outlets to showcase her creativity. She hopes to use the skills she gains throughout her schooling and organizations to be a multimedia storyteller that dominates all realms of media.

During her free time, Maureen loves all things movies, TV shows, and beauty. Her favorite genre to watch are romantic comedies and has most likely seen every rom-com released from the early 2000's and beyond. In addition, she passionate about cosmetology and beauty. She owns her own hair business and has been actively doing hair since 2020. She enjoys the beauty of getting to connect and bond with her clients ,while in hand helping them achieve their best version of themselves through getting their hair done.
