Marie Kasongo is a sophomore at Brown University, studying Biomedical Engineering and earning a Data Fluency certificate from Boston, Massachusetts. She’s passionate about healthcare equity, women’s empowerment in STEM, digital health innovation, and social efforts aimed at building a more equitable and connected world. Currently she is an event coordinator for the African Students Association, a social advocate at Connect for helath, and a research assistant at the Wong Bioimaging lab. One fun fact is that one of her favorite movies is The Grinch.
