My name is Maria Elizondo, and I am a senior in Marketing and Sales at Iowa State University. While I’ve been having my fun in the Midwest, I am pushing my future towards a city and branching out to explore somewhere completely different. I love all things music, movies, history, psychology, you name it, I am definitely interested in it.
A goal of mine is to channel my passions for media and storytelling into a lifelong career. My dream career is to work in the business part of the music industry and meet so many amazing people. I want to start a podcast soon, to braindump all my thoughts. I have always been fascinated by celebrity culture and how audiences get so attached to people they don't even know just because of the art they create or are involved in.
To pursue my passion, I have gotten involved with writing cultural articles for HerCampus. The power of the media intrigues me, and I realize how important it is to society!
