Mari Lopes is a passionate Public Relations undergraduate student at Faculdade Cásper Líbero in São Paulo, Brazil. Since she was a little girl, Mari has always found refuge and her favorite form of expression in words, cultivating a deep love for writing, poetry, and literature. Her path to Public Relations came about through life's natural twists and turns, driven by her ultimate purpose: a supreme passion for people. Mari genuinely loves being around others, listening to their stories, learning about their journeys, and discovering the unique details that make every individual special in this world.
Academically and professionally, she views communication as a living tool to build impactful narratives, value diverse perspectives, and create meaning in every single interaction. Her professional journey began at TV Cultura, where she fell in love with the power of internal communication. Later, channeling her high school Student Council days, she dived into the public sector, working at the São Paulo Municipal Chamber organizing institutional events. Mari also brings international experience to the table from working abroad, which sharpened her empathetic perspective in multicultural settings and polished her English communication skills. Currently, she is part of the team at the pharmaceutical company Roche, where she is fascinated daily by how strategic communication positively impacts the patient’s journey.
When she is not immersed in her stories or navigating the corporate world, Mari makes it a point to stay active to maintain her vitality, a valuable lesson learned from her mother, Dione, who is a swimming instructor. As a resident and big fan of São Paulo, she loves exploring the vibrant city, participating in book clubs, finding inspiration in everyday stories, and, of course, enjoying a good cup of coffee while connecting with inspiring women. Navigating her journey with the mindset of a lifelong learner in the digital era, Mari walks forward spreading lightness, carrying with her at every step the open, genuine smile she inherited from her father, Joaquim, a smile capable of disarming any challenge.
