Maliha Mahmud

My name is Maliha Mahmud, currently in my second year pursuing a major in Advertising with a minor in Business Administration. My journey in marketing began as the VP of Marketing for various student organizations such as DECA, and I've further grown my skills with my internship this past summer as a marketing intern. I was able to conduct market research, grow my graphic design skills, and generate social media content for numerous clients. Recently, I've taken on the role of Director of Events at the Bangladeshi Student Association, where I'm excited to create engaging experiences for our members.

I was born and raised in South Florida. Some of my interests include watching the sunrise on the beach and indulging in a good book. Baking with friends and catching up on TV shows are also cherished pastimes. I have a passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, which has fueled my determination to continue a career in these industries.

My ultimate goal is to specialize in marketing analytics and brand management, with a keen focus on the retail and beauty sectors. I believe HerCampus will provide me with a great opportunity to expand my leadership skills, deepen my knowledge on public relations, and allow me to gain creative visions for the organization.
