Makela is a sophomore at Penn State University, majoring in Criminology. She has been writing since elementary school, and is thrilled about working with Her Campus to further explore her beloved hobby for writing!
Makela is a New York native raised in The Bronx, but spent most of her childhood in Manhattan for school.
